Polio Virus Outbreak
As you are aware there is an outbreak of the polio virus in our sewage system, which can cause paralysis. This is a public health concern. Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust are carrying out clinics in the community for Polio boosters for any child who lives in the Greenwich area.
The age group we will be vaccinating will be for children between 6-9 years of age. Any children with incomplete childhood immunisations will need to attend their GP surgery.
